The New York based Nazmiyal auction house will be holding their online oriental rug and carpet sale, concluding on Sunday 13th 2022. The sale offers a vide range of rugs and carpets to suit most pockets, some of the standout pieces are a 28 foot Persian Khorasan carpet (lot4095), a number of beautiful Chinese rugs (lot 4009, 4036. 4071) and a spectacular antique Persian Farahan Sarouk in rich sapphire blues, hot reds, and jewel tones (lot 4162 starting bid $10,000). Also some stunning Persian Heriz Serapi carpets (lot 4015, 4060, 4066) and some rare 17th century Ottoman textiles (lot 4050, 4051, and 4053). In Milan, Viscontea Casa d' Aste auction house will be holding their Oriental Carpets & Textiles sale on 15th March 2022. Noteworthy pieces include a Persian Bakhshaiesh rug dated 1301 (1883) an Indian Agra carpet dated 1913, an Ikat silk textile, a Qashqai rug, a Caucasian Kuba Kilim and a silk Heriz carpet.

Skinners of Boston will be holding their timed online auction of fine oriental rugs and carpets, which will end on 10th March 2022 at 7:00pm. The sale includes 266 lots of antique rugs, carpets and textiles from the Caucasus region, Persia, Anatolia and Central Asia. The London Antique Rug and Textile Fair (LARTA) will take place at Battersea Park from 25th-30th January 2022. Eighteen dealers from around the UK and Europe will offer an eclectic mix of antique rugs, carpets and textiles. The sale incudes more than 170 lots from private collections and various estates.

Schuler Auktionen's of Zurich will be holding their Oriental Rugs and Carpets sale on Wednesday 15th December 2021. One of the highlights of the sale is lot 898 a Suzani from Uzbekistan, circa 1900. Material Culture will be holding their Oriental Rugs from American Estates, sale on Wednesday 15th December 2021. some of the highlights are, a rare 18th century Salor Chuval (lot 16), also a spectacular large 19th century Persian silk Heriz carpet (lot 42), a fine 19th century Persian Qashqai Shekarlu rug (lot 81), and many other fine examples from the rug weaving world such as Caucasia, Persia, Anatolia, and Central Asia.

Bukowskis Auctions of Stockholm will be holding their Important Winter Sale, including 65 carpets and textiles, the sale highlights are nine tapestries dating from the 16th to the 18th century, the most important being the Feuilles de choux, woven in Flanders in the late 16th century. Bruun Rasmussen auctions in Copenhagen, will be holding their Antique oriental carpets and rugs auction on 1st December 2021. included in the classical rugs is a fabulous Persian silk Kashan rug with two large Peacocks on a rare yellow ground. Also available is a beautiful antique Persian Heriz carpet, and a pair of Flemish tapestries, as well as several good Chinese rugs.

Christie's Auction House will be holding their Exceptional Sale on 23rd November 2021 at their Paris sale rooms. The highlight of this sale is a magnificent Ming dynasty Palace carpet (lot 224) made for the halls of the Forbidden City. This carpet could be the oldest surviving complete Ming Palace carpet known, the production of these carpets is thought to have started in the 15th century and continued until the 17th century. The estimate for this rare carpet is €3,500,000-€4,500,000. On Monday 22nd November 2021 Wannenes Auction house will be holding their antique rug and carpet sale. Among the highlights is lot 93 a North-West Persian rug circa 1850, estimate € 15,000-€18,000, and lot 85 a Chinese Beijing rug circa 1900, estimate €20,000-€26,000.
