Nazmiyal Auctions will be holding there oriental rug and carpets sale on Sunday 26th September 2021. The sale will comprise of over 150 lots of antique and vintage oriental rugs and carpets from a wide variety of weaving country's including Persia, Caucasus, China, and Europe. Consigned from a Florida estate, beautiful 19th century Seychour runner (lot 2013) and a colourful Fachralo Kazak rug (lot 2063) are two sale highlights from the collection of Caucasian rugs. Another Caucasian highlight is a Kurdish runner (lot 2003) that features a highly unusual Ersari like gul design. From Persia a beautiful rare Bakhtiari carpet that is signed and dated AH1331/1913 CE (lot 2006), a large antique ivory Serapi carpet with an all over mina Khani design (lot 2005), a fine and rare souf Kashan rug (lot 2131), and a saffron Kirman Lavar carpet (lot 2088), and a very special Pictorial Kirman carpet depicting the leaders of the world (lot 2097). Other noteworthy lots include an unusually narrow and long antique Chinese runner (lot 2049), and an oversized Indian Agra rug (lot 2059), a Turkish Oushak carpet (lot 2095), and two Charles X French Aubusson rugs (lot 2133 and 2134).
