Nazmiyal Auctions Oriental Rug & Carpet Sale

On Thursday 15th October 2020 Nazmiyal auctions will be holding their fine Oriental rugs and carpets sale. The sale comprises of rugs and carpets from various sources from international estates and collections. included in the sale are village and tribal rugs and carpets from Persia, and the Caucasus. highlights of the sale are a colourful Karachopt Kazak rug (lot 7022 estimate: $5,000-$8,000), a Yomud small carpet (lot 7114 estimate: $1,000-$2,000), an 18th century Turkish Smyrna carpet (lot 7110 estimate: $8,000-$10,000), and several high quality Persian Qum rugs, in both silk and wool. The sale also has a fine selection of decorative rugs and carpets from Persia, Anatolia, China, and Morocco.
